Icom IC-PAC Interface Cable

The IC-PAC and IC-PAC-6 interface cables providing DC power and control between the radio and the autotuner. Available in six foot (IC-PAC-6) and one foot (IC-PAC).

Supported Radios:
IC-7000, IC-7600, IC-7700, IC-7100, IC-7200, IC-7300, IC-706, IC-707, IC-718, IC-725, IC-728, IC-736, IC-738, IC-746, IC-756. This interface cable will work with any Icom radio that supports the Icom AH-3 or AH-4 Tuner. Please check your radio’s manual.

Functionality:
Pressing the tune button quickly on the tuner by-passes the tuner. Pressing and holding the tune button on the radio or tuner starts the tune process.

Note:
If you are using this cable with the IC-718, be sure to set the tuner menu to “4”. The LDG tuner and interface cable emulates the Icom-AH-4 tuner.

Yaesu Y-ACC Interface Cable

Y-ACC. 36″ cable interface between the select Yaesu radios and LDG Generic tuners. Does not supply DC to tuner. Connects between the ALC/REM or ACC stereo jack on the radio and the Radio Interface on the LDG tuner.

Supported Radios:
FT-857(D), FT-897(D), FT-100, FT-100(D), FT-991(A) and FT-891.

Functionality:
Connect red end to radio, black end to tuner. 

Pressing the tune button on the tuner changes the mode of the radio to CW (mode change does not appear on some radio display), tunes, then returns the radio to the previous mode. The RF power is lowered while the tuner is tuning. There is no need to change RF power settings before or after tuning.

For FT-991(A), set menu item 143 (Tuner Select) to LAMP (for Linear Amp). For FT-891 set menu item 16-15 (Tuner Select) to LAMP. For both use the ALC/REM jack (red end of the Y-ACC cable goes to the radio).

Y-ACC-2. 36″ cable interface between the select Yaesu radios and LDG Generic tuners.. Connects between CAT port on the radio and the Radio Interface on the LDG tuner. Does not supply DC to tuner.

Supported Radios:
FT-450 (D), FT-950, FT-dx1200, FT-dx10

Functionality:

  • Connect Mini-DIN-10 to radio, 3.5mm
  • Stereo TRS plug end to tuner.
  • Pressing the tune button on the tuner changes the mode of the radio to CW (mode change does not appear on some radio display), tunes, then returns the radio to the previous mode. The RF power is lowered while the tuner is tuning. There is no need to change RF power settings before or after tuning.
